Explore the region’s railroad history and enjoy the fall scenery on a train ride from Johnstown to Altoona, with stops at key sites in Altoona. Tours depart from the Johnstown Train Station (and will begin with a brief overview of the building’s renovation plans) via Amtrak, and return from Altoona by bus. This tour is available on Oct. 1, 15 and 29.
Guests will visit the Altoona Railroaders Museum, the Horseshoe Curve, and the historic Baker Mansion, plus a stop at the Boyer’s Candy Factory Outlet.
Tickets: $75/adult, $50/child (ages 2-11); $70/JAHA member adult, $45/member child.
