The Johnstown Children's Museum is a new project of the Johnstown Area Heritage Association. This museum is located on the third floor of the Heritage Discovery Center, and allows children to learn through play about Johnstown's geography, history, culture, industry and more.

Admissions & Hours
Admission

Admission to the Johnstown Children's Museum is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $6 for children from 3-18 (children 2 and under are free). Admission covers all exhibits and amenities at the Heritage Discovery Center, including "America: Through Immigrant Eyes," the Iron & Steel Gallery, second-floor galleries and fifth-floor galleries. Those who live in the area may wish to consider JAHA membership; see below for membership benefits, which include free admission to all JAHA museums as many times as you'd like to come for a full year.

Your ticket also includes admission to all JAHA-owned museums in the Johnstown Discovery Network, including the Johnstown Flood Museum, which is also operated by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association. The Wagner-Ritter House & Garden is open on a seasonal schedule (see the Wagner-Ritter House & Garden's admissions page for details), and your ticket is also good for admission to this house museum when it is open. Tickets may be used over a 5-day period, so it is not necessary to see all museums on the same day. Plan to see all museums on your visit -- and for more information on the Johnstown Discovery Network and other heritage attractions in the Johnstown area, visit the Johnstown Discovery Network section of this site.

The Johnstown Flood Museum is located about a half-mile from the Heritage Discovery Center and Wagner-Ritter House & Garden. Museum staff will be happy to direct you.
