Around the turn of the century, thousands of immigrants from Southern and Eastern Europe came to the United States to build a better life for themselves and their families. Experience their story first-hand at the Frank & Sylvia Pasquerilla Heritage Discovery Center, which is operated by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association (JAHA)!
|
| | Admissions & Hours | Admission to the Heritage Discovery Center is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 for students. Your ticket also includes admission to the Johnstown Flood Museum, which is also operated by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association. JAHA's newest museum, the Wagner-Ritter House & Garden is open on a seasonal schedule (see the Wagner-Ritter House & Garden's admissions page for details), and your ticket is also good for admission to this house museum when it is open. Tickets may be used over a 30-day period, so it is not necessary to see all three museums on the same day. Plan to see all three museums on your visit -- and for more information on the Johnstown Discovery Network and other heritage attractions in the Johnstown area, visit the Johnstown Discovery Network section of this site.
The Johnstown Flood Museum is located about a half-mile from the Heritage Discovery Center and Wagner-Ritter House & Garden. Museum staff will be happy to direct you. |

Several floors of the Heritage Discovery Center building are under construction for the new Johnstown Children's Discovery Museum. However, the permanent and temporary exhibits of the Heritage Discovery Center are located on the first and second floors, which are unaffected by the construction. The Heritage Discovery Center will remain open throughout the construction process.
