Group Services
The Heritage Discovery Center appeals to groups of all ages - seniors, students and everyone in between! We can arrange a tour with a special admission rate for any group of 10 or more -- but tours should be arranged in advance with Melissa Bacon, Visitor Services Director, at 814-539-1889 x 311.

Group rates for just the Heritage Discovery Center are available, but combination rates for both the Heritage Discovery Center (including the new Johnstown Children's Museum and Iron & Steel Gallery, Wagner-Ritter House & Garden, and the Johnstown Flood Museum are an even better value - so plan to visit all three sites! The museums, which are located a half-mile apart, make for a wonderful day of sightseeing. (Note that although the Wagner-Ritter House & Garden is open on a seasonal schedule, we will open it anytime for groups with advance notice.)

Additional group services available include:

- Free education programs for student groups, available on this Web site -- There are three separate programs for the Heritage Discovery Center, all including pre-, post- and on-site activities designed to help teachers and student group leaders make the most out of a visit to us. All three programs, "Push and Pull of Immigration," "Making a Life" and "Making a Living," are online. These programs allow students to use primary and secondary research materials to explore themes relevant to our museums, and all meet Pennsylvania state education standards.
