| | Community Kitchen and Non-Profit Opportunities | Johnstown-area non-profits and churches have increased opportunities to participate in the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival to make money for their organizations! There are two ways to take part: - Community Kitchen -- Since 2004, local non-profit organizations and churches have been provided with a booth to vend food and drinks without paying a booth fee. As in previous years, the Community Kitchen booths will be located in a prominent area on the festival midway. This year, Community Kitchen participants will work directly with our master concessionaire, Mom's Food Services.
- Volunteer at food booths to earn a portion of the proceeds -- Sign up volunteers from your church or non-profit to work in one of the food booths at the festival, and earn a portion of the booth's proceeds! Your group will work under the supervision of our master concessionaire. There is no risk or preparation involved -- all you have to do is provide the people! Your group will work under the supervision of Mom's employees.
JAHA will promote non-profit participants in the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival, both Community Kitchen and working in other food booths, on this Web site and through media relations efforts. Participating in the Flood City Music Festival is a great way to raise money while also publicizing your organization and its mission. |
