Local Festivals
The Johnstown area is home to many festivals in late summer -- JAHA encourages you to support them! 

 

Richland Community Days -- Live music, craft booths, food, fireworks, and a parade are features of this festival, which is held at the corner of Schoolhouse and Theatre Drive next to the Richland Township Municipal Building. Held Friday, August 13-Saturday, August 14, 2010. 

 

Cambria City Ethnic Festival -- This festival is held in the Cambria City Historic District, location of the Heritage Discovery Center, the Johnstown Children's Museum, and Wagner-Ritter House & Garden. The festival features great ethnic food, music, children's activities and tours of the neighborhood's magnificent ethnic churches. Held September 3-5, 2010, which is the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend

 

Log House Arts Festival -- Produced by the Community Arts Center of Cambria County, the Log House Arts Festival features music, food, a children's area, and displays by a wide variety of artisans. Held September 4-5, 2010, the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend. 

 

Forest Hills Festival -- This family-friendly festival is produced by the Friends of the Johnstown Flood National Memorial at the Berwind Westside Park near St. Michael, along Route 869. The festival features food, music, "that Dam Duck Race," children's activities and craft booths. Held September 3-6, 2010, the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Labor Day weekend.
