Volunteer Opportunities
Updated September 28, 2007 Become a FolkFest volunteer! It takes hundreds of volunteers to make the FolkFest happen each year - before, during and after the festival. Volunteering is a great way to be part of this area's biggest community festival. Also, volunteering at FolkFest is a great way for students to fulfill service-hour requirements -- just ask, and JAHA staff will fill out any necessary paperwork for you.> No matter what time commitment you're able to make, we can find a volunteering opportunity for you. Everyone from school-aged kids to senior citizens is welcome! What's more, all FolkFest volunteers receive a FREE FolkFest T-shirt. Note that we always need cleanup and reset volunteers during the event itself, immediately after the festival closes each evening, before it opens each day, and all day on Labor Day.
