How You Can Help

Johnstown's Stone Bridge is a seven arched bridge spanning the Conemaugh River and routes 403 & 56. It is a landmark in the city, and is well-known for its role in the Johnstown flood of 1889 (see the history page for details). With the support of federal and state government resources, Norfolk Southern Railroad (owners of the bridge), and local community members like you, we can preserve and illuminate the Stone Bridge in the manner portrayed on this site.
Local financial support from you is critical to the success of the project, which has an estimated cost of $1.2 million.

By pledging a tax deductible contribution, you can support the legacy of the Stone Bridge. Please download this brochure, which includes a pledge card, to make your gift to The Stone Bridge Project.
Contributors of $100 or more receive a chance to win one of the five limited edition prints of the artist's rendering of the lighted Stone Bridge, created by T.K. Mundok The limited edition raffle will take place at the completion of the fundraising project.
