David Santa has organized a fundraising dinner to support the efforts to restore the Ludwig House!

Dr. Cyril Wecht, a nationally-renowned pathologist, is the keynote speaker. He will be speaking on interesting cases he has worked on, including the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

The Ludwig home was used by Clara Barton and the American Red Cross in the aftermath of the “Great Johnstown Flood of 1889” as their relief headquarters.

The Ludwig home was later used by Johnstown legend and community activist Ms. Pauline Gordon, who used it as a funeral home. According to the local NAACP, this was Johnstown’s oldest business under African-American ownership.
