In preparation for Race Day, read up on the history of the historic 1889 Johnstown Flood, and learn more about the Path of the Flood Trail and other local trails.
Runners are asked to wear BLUE or GREEN for race day to simulate water.

Runners will pick up their packets at Peoples Natural Gas Park Oilhouse (90 Johns St./Johnstown, PA 15901)
*If you need to pick up your packet on race day morning, you can pick up at the same location from 6-6:30 am. on May 27. Those runners who plan on attending the Friday Night Pre-Race Dinner will be able to pick up packets at the dinner.

Friends and family of runners: Join us at the cheer party to make posters for Race Day! On Race Day, rally-ers are welcome to stand wherever they’d like along the course holding signs, cheering on runners, and giving out high-fives.

Peoples Natural Gas Park Oilhouse (90 Johns St./Johnstown, PA 15901)
Cost: $10 – Includes pasta, salad, rolls and drinks, AND full, free access to the Johnstown Flood Museum (304 Washington St) with a tour guide available. This is a great way to absorb the impact of the flood and make the run on Saturday much more memorable.

After finishing the race, relax and enjoy the music and fellowship of the post-race festival under the open-air pavilion at the beautiful Peoples Natural Gas Park. Complimentary pizza and one complimentary beverage will be available to participants. Participants 21 years of age and older can choose between a complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. Participants under the age of 21 will receive one complimentary soft drink. Additional drinks will be available to purchase. For non-participants, a food truck vendor will be available with food and drink items to purchase.
There will be an awards ceremony at 9:30 a.m. for the 5K, 10:30 a.m. for the 12K, and 11:30 a.m. for the Half Marathon at Peoples Natural Gas Park. Locally crafted awards will be presented for the top three male and female runners in each race.
