All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Trails program, which exists to enhance and expand the Cambria County Trails, as well as the Johnstown Area Heritage Association. For 2017, a local partnership between the Johnstown Area Heritage Association (JAHA) and the Cambria County Conservation and Recreation Authority (CCCRA) was formed to host this event. JAHA is a non-profit organization that strives to preserve and showcase the heritage and stories of Johnstown through museums, educational and cultural programs, and special events. The CCCRA provides the residents and visitors of Cambria County recreational trail experiences that connect citizens with the region’s assets to encourage and support active, healthy lifestyles. All proceeds benefit JAHA and the CCCRA Friends of the Trails program.
The Path of the Flood Historic Races relies on countless community volunteers in order to make the event a success. If you or your business are interested in volunteering on Race Day at one of six water stops or at the finish line, please contact Melody Tisinger at 814-539-1889 x315.
