Welcome to the official site of the AmeriServ Johnstown FolkFest - one of the largest free music festivals in the nation! Produced by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association, the FolkFest features more than 70 hours of free music over Labor Day weekend. Check back often for updates!

Labor Day weekend, September 2-4, 2005 - Johnstown, Pennsylvania

Food at FolkFest

The FolkFest always offers a wide array of tempting ethnic food, including Chinese, Mexican, Thai and Eastern European! Festival favorites like funnel cake, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, kettle korn, crabcakes, cinnamon roasted almonds and cotton candy will also be available. Many of our vendors return every year, and we generally also have several new ones to try. All food and drinks at FolkFest must be purchased using scrip.

New in 2004--the Community Kitchen! Through this initiative, JAHA offers area churches and non-profit organizations the opportunity to vend food at the FolkFest without paying booth fees. JAHA plans to grow this initiative in future years--if you'd like more information about this fund-raising opportunity, contact Shelley Johansson at 814-539-1889 x 308.

JAHA extends a special thanks to in-kind sponsor New Pig, which helps us equip our food booths.
