JAHA is delighted to welcome Deb Winterscheidt as director of development and member services! In her new position, Deb will work closely with JAHA’s board and president to raise funds for the organization, and grow and maintain JAHA’s membership. She’ll also play a key role in planning and executing some special events.

“Deb is extremely capable, organized, and personable,” says Richard Burkert, president of JAHA. “We’re thrilled to have her.”

She replaces Melody Tisinger, who is moving on to another opportunity after nine years with JAHA.

“I’ve got big shoes to fill, but Melody has really helped me learn the role and slide into it,” Deb says. “I’m excited to be here, and have already gotten lots of encouragement and support from the community.”

Deb is well-known in the Johnstown community for her many years of leadership in volunteer capacities, notably with the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania, and various parent organizations within the Westmont Hilltop School District. She has held a variety of administrative positions, including law office management.

Deb can be reached at 539-1889, x315. Stop by and say hi next time you’re at our offices!
