Volunteer Opportunities
Updated August 8, 2006 FolkFest volunteer signup is in full swing! If you'd like to sign up, contact Gwen Hartnett by e-mail or at JAHA offices, 814-539-1889 x301. It takes hundreds of volunteers to make the FolkFest happen each year - before, during and after the festival. Volunteering is a great way to be part of this area's biggest community festival. Also, volunteering at FolkFest is a great way for students to fulfill service-hour requirements -- just ask, and JAHA staff will fill out any necessary paperwork for you. No matter what time commitment you're able to make, we can find a volunteering opportunity for you. Everyone from school-aged kids to senior citizens is welcome! What's more, all FolkFest volunteers receive a FREE FolkFest T-shirt.
