Summer Science Series: Healthy Foods & Food Science

Join JAHA and Dr. Matt of UPJ for a more in depth look at the science concepts in the Johnstown Children’s Museum through demonstrations and hands on experiments. Each class will provide children with a take home!

We’ll meet in the education room at the museum, with trips to the museum as necessary! Cost is $3 for JAHA members, $5 for non-members.

The August 14 topic is healthy foods and food science. We’ll cover:

• Solar oven smores
• Ice cream in a bag
• Making butter
