The Center for Metal Arts (CMA) and the Johnstown Area Heritage Association (JAHA) are partnering to host a two-day series of tours to showcase the newly refurbished 3,000 lb Chambersburg hammer, located within the Blacksmith Shop.
Each tour will be approximately 90 minutes in length and will include tours of the original Pattern Shop, which houses the CMA classroom and research studio, the historic Cambria Blacksmith Shop and a working demonstration of the Chambersburg hammer.
Tours will be offered on Sat., Oct. 19 and Sun., Oct. 20 at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, and 2:00 pm. Tickets are $10.
*Protective eyewear will be available to borrow for the tour, and earplugs will be provided.
