The Johnstown Area Heritage Association gratefully acknowledges the Experiential Learning Committee at Mt. Aloysius College, which has facilitated the purchase of a new train table for the Johnstown Children’s Museum! Education students in Mt. Aloysius’s Aesthetic Experiences for Young Children class served as museum docents during the spring 2022 semester, working with JAHA’s Marisa Tracey and elementary students on school field trips. The class and their advisor, Dr. Sara Rutledge, applied for a grant from the Experiential Learning Committee to purchase the new table, which has been placed next to a large window overlooking the train tracks that run beside the Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum building.

The student docents are:

Phoebe Balsinger
Grace Bertram
Allison Brooks
Maya Capozzoli
Troy McConnell
Kylie Mihalov
Mercedes Sickles
Natalie Stelzer
Samantha Watson
