Please see the calendar below for the current operating schedules of the Johnstown Flood Museum, Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum. The Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday only; the Johnstown Flood Museum is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Visitors to the Johnstown Children’s Museum (which is located on the third floor of the Heritage Discovery Center) are encouraged to RSVP 539-1889 before your visit, as we are limiting the number of families in the museum at any given time — see the children’s museum COVID information page for details on our scheduling and safety protocol. RSVPs are not needed to visit the Johnstown Flood Museum or the other attractions in the Heritage Discovery Center.

In accordance with PA guidelines, visitors and employees must wear masks, and are asked to observe social distancing while in our facilities. We are taking additional steps to ensure safety, such as sanitizing surfaces frequently. Welcome!

Peoples Natural Gas Park

Join us for a dog- and family-friendly event that will include a dog show, live bands, food vendors, and a chance to meet lots of dogs!

The festival will be held rain or shine. The schedule is as follows:

  • 12:30 pm – gates open
  • 1:00 pm – Food and other vendors begin sales, and cash bar opens
  • 1:00 pm –Dog show hosted by the Cambria County Humane Society. The show will feature some adoptable animals!
  • 2:00 pm – Dan Stonerook
  • 3:00 pm – Kaelber
  • 5:00 pm – Black Ridge
  • 7:00 pm – Middle Class Vagrants

Proceeds benefit the Johnstown Children’s Museum and the Habitat for Hounds Humane Officer Program. Tickets are $10 in advance, or $15 at the gate.
