July activities: Mr. Rogers Neighborhood!

“It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood!” 2018 marks the 50^th anniversary of Mister Roger’s neighborhood. As Mister Rogers is from the Altoona and Pittsburgh area we are celebrating him and the show this summer in the Johnstown Children’s Museum. This July we are highlighting bits of history about our neighborhood and having some fun with Mister Roger’s neighborhood.

Activities Throughout the Month

• Take a picture with Fred Rogers!
• Mister Rogers coloring pages
• Create your own paper neighborhoods
• Put on a puppet show in our sound booth
• Make a map of your own neighborhood
• Play a giant game of operation in the HDC hospital
