The first show in the Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Free Concert Series!
The Hypochondriacs have a fresh and raw take to a standard genre, profoundly influenced by early rockabilly, a taste of 60’s doo-wop & 70’s folk-rock.
Hailing from New Brunswick, Canada, the band has performed at major festivals like SXSW, Breakout West & Harvest Music Festival, and is on the bill for this year’s Red Wing Roots Music Festival in June. They’ve opened for Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, Corb Lund & Trooper, and The Reverend Horton Heat to name a few.
Johnstown’s own Screech Owl will open up the free show, which is set for July 1 at Peoples Natural Gas Park.
