Where and how to cheer on the runners at the May 25 Path of the Flood Historic Races!

The Path of the Flood Historic Races, which consist of a 5K, 8-miler, and 14-miler, will be run on Sat., May 25, and are presented by JAHA and the Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority! But you don’t have to be a runner to enjoy the day! (If you are a runner and have not yet registered, registration for the 5K only is still available online and day-of-race — click here for details.)

Everyone is invited to cheer on the runners at the following locations/times during the race, and afterward during the live music and awards at Peoples Natural Gas Park.

South Fork: 8:00-8:30 am

  • Lake Street
  • Railroad Street
  • Portage Street

Woodvale: 8:00-10:45 am

  • Maple Ave.

Franklin: 8:00-10:30 am

  • Main Street
  • Across the bridge and through Woodvale

Mineral Point: 8:30-9:30 am

  • Front St.
  • Beech Hill Rd.
  • Under the bridge
  • Staple Bend Tunnel

Downtown Johnstown: 8:00-11:30 am

  • Clinton Street
  • Washington Street
  • Walnut Street

Finish line at Peoples Natural Gas Park

  • Post-race entertainment by Screech Owl from 8:30-11:30 am, and food and drink will be available for sale. Awards are announced as follows:
    • 9:00 am – 5K awards
    • 10:00 am – 8 miler awards
    • 11:00 am – 14 miler awards
