Come work with us! Two positions are available: a seasonal position as part-time rental assistant, and part-time maintenance/janitorial at our Johnstown Flood Museum location.

Job Title: Seasonal – Part-Time Rental Assistant

Salary: $11/hr, plus tips 

Job Summary: As a Part-Time Rental Assistant, you will work directly with the Director of Rentals and Sales, playing a key role in executing events like weddings and concerts, ensuring their success and smooth operation. Your responsibilities will include coordinating logistics, providing on-site support, and managing bar service during events. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  

Job Requirements:  Previous experience in bartending, event planning, hospitality, customer service, and/or banquet service preferred.  This job can be physically demanding. Ideal candidates must be able to lift 40+ pounds and should expect to be on their feet most of their shift. Evenings and weekend availability are a must.  If you are not Pennsylvania RAMP-trained, you will be required to do so upon hiring. Great opportunity for college students, especially in hospitality or related fields.

Job Title: Maintenance/Janitorial at Johnstown Flood Museum

Salary: $11/hr

Job Summary: This is a part-time position (25 hours/week) at primarily the Johnstown Flood Museum as well as the Heritage Discovery Center. Duties include janitorial, maintenance, setup and teardown for events. The ability to lift 50 pounds is required, along with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, with very occasional evenings. Must have reliable transportation.
