Winter opening hours have begun for the Johnstown Flood Museum and Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum: we are CLOSED Tuesdays and Wednesdays; OPEN Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays from 10:00 am-5:00 pm; and OPEN Sundays from noon-5:00 pm. The Wagner-Ritter House is closed for winter until April 19, 2023.

Visit the Johnstown Children’s Museum during regular opening hours on April 8 for an egg and afikomen hunt! Kids will be able to search for eggs around the Johnstown Children’s Museum, and then pretend to be the Easter Bunny and hide eggs for others! Each child will receive their own small basket with treats that they can decorate.

Children can also search the museum for the afikomen, a holder for matzoh, as a part of the Passover tradition. Kids can make their own afikomen and sample matzoh!

Free to JAHA members or with museum admission.
