In accordance with Commonwealth of PA guidelines, visitors and employees must wear masks, and are asked to observe social distancing while in our facilities. We are taking additional steps, such as sanitizing surfaces frequently. Nick Wuckovich will conduct this Lower Town walking tour, discussing Flood-surviving buildings and historical areas, sharing photographs, and telling stories. This tour is from Walnut Street to the Stone Bridge, covering an area that was completely devastated by the event.

Nick has taken a deep dive into the first-person accounts of the Flood.  One of the most important aspects of his work has been compiling photographs of victims and survivors, and pairing them with views of corresponding homes or businesses.

Walking tours will begin at the Johnstown Flood Museum and are $5 or $3 with museum admission.
